WINE DOWN WEDNESDAY at Bill Stasek Chevrolet

Back by popular demand, Wine Down Wednesday Joint Lincolnshire and Wheeling Prospect Heights Chamber Event, (700 W. Dundee Rd., Wheeling between Route 83 & Wolf Rd.) on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 4:30-6:30pm.

Featuring tastings of dozens of wines from around the world, nibbles from Restaurant Row eateries in Wheeling and Lincolnshire (including Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant, Lynfred Winery Wheeling, Sullivan's Steakhouse, Sarenello's Ristorante Italiano, Bonta Italian Deli and Wine Shop, Eddie Merlot's Prime Aged Beef and Seafood, and Tramonto's Steak & Seafood), Sponsored by Chiro One and MB Financial Bank with mini-presentations on these topics throughout the event:

• How to combine the right foods and wines for entertaining this summer
• Creative cocktails and unexpected pairings
• Learn about the history of some local wineries on a "taste tour"
• Taste and compare wines for purchase at local shops and restaurants
