Nisha Floyd: Director of Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at NORBIC at the Alliance for Illinois Manufacturing: Nisha will discuss programs available to small and medium sized businesses that can help companies pay for the cost of compliance. In 2012, the Alliance for Illinois Manufacturing directly assisted over 150 companies to received $6.3 million in government grants and reimbursement programs. Technical assistance has resulted in millions of dollars in increased sales, government bids and low-cost loans.
