Rotary is represented by neighbors, community leaders and concerned businesses united in serving our community via financing scholarship for graduating students at Wheeling High School, literacy programs with School District 21 & Indian Trails Library, and our partnership with the Village of Wheeling through our Wheeling Food Pantry.. In addition, once a year those who wish, visit and work in Central or South America to better communities there (e.g. building schools, libraries, water treatment systems, etc). In addition Rotary International is committed and has nearly succeeded in stamping out polio on a worldwide basis....
We are all volunteers.....No one in our club receives any compensation for our efforts
We meet weekly on Fridays at Chevy Chase and enjoy the fellowship of lunch together beginning at 12:15 and ending no later than 1:30 pm. Each week we have a speaker...in the past from government (e.g. State Reps or Senators) or speakers from other local charities.
We hope you will consider joining us...
